Privacy Policy
Last updated July 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SponsorMySocial("SponsorMySocial", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the SponsorMySocial Services at sponsormysocial.com. By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the Services, our servers and our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this to operate and secure the platform, prevent abuse, and understand general usage. On its own, this information is not used to identify you personally.
Information you provide
When you create an account and build a media kit, we collect:
- Account details: your name, email address, and either a password (stored only as a secure hash) or a Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
- Media-kit information: your display name, handle, bio, profile photo, showcase images, social platforms and handles, self-reported follower counts, audience details, rates, past brands, and sample-work links.
- Messages you send or receive through the offer/messaging feature.
Everything on your public media kit is intended to be seen by anyone — see "Public information" below.
Information from brands sending offers
A brand can send a creator an offer without creating an account. When they do, we collect the name, email address, company (optional), and message they provide, along with their IP address for security and rate-limiting. We email the sender a confirmation link, and the offer is delivered to the creator only after the sender confirms their email.
How we use information
- To create and manage accounts and display public media kits.
- To relay offers and messages between creators and brands, and to send the related email notifications.
- To send transactional emails such as email confirmations, sign-in links, and password resets.
- To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising or retargeting networks.
Public information
Your media kit — display name, photo, bio, tags, social handles, self-reported statistics, rates, past brands, sample work, and showcase images — is public and may be indexed by search engines once your account is confirmed. Do not put anything on your kit that you would not want publicly visible. Your email address and password are never shown publicly.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Services:
- Google — sign-in. If you use Google sign-in, we receive your basic profile and verified email.
- Resend — email delivery. The content and recipient of transactional and notification emails (including messages exchanged through offers) pass through Resend so they can be delivered.
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security. Traffic to the Services is routed through Cloudflare.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public. If we are ever involved in a merger or acquisition, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
Email tracking
Some emails we send may include a small pixel that tells us whether the message was opened, which helps us confirm deliverability. You can prevent this by disabling image loading in your email client. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Residual copies may remain in routine backups for a limited time.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and media kit from your dashboard, or by emailing us at [email protected]. Deleting your account removes your public kit from the Services.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom (GDPR) or in California (CCPA/CPRA), these rights may apply to you. To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information.
Children
The Services are intended for users 18 and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including hashing passwords and serving the site over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International users
The Services are operated from the United States. If you access them from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate we will provide notice.
